The DC Fiscal Policy Institute (DCFPI) is pleased to welcome Ashley Blake to its Board of Directors.
Blake has been a nonprofit leader for nearly two decades, managing highly impactful teams committed to social equity through housing justice and upward mobility initiatives. She is skilled in fostering deeply collaborative relationships across public and private sectors in support of building healthy, thriving communities.
Currently, she serves as Director, Solutions Management (Chief of Staff) for the Solutions Division of Enterprise Community Partners, a national non-profit that exists to make a good home possible for the millions of families without one. Additionally, she serves on Avalon Housing’s Board of Directors and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice.
“I’m elated to have Ashley Blake as our newest addition to the DCFPI Board as we pursue housing justice in the District,” said Erica Williams, executive director of DCFPI. “Ashley brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to advocating on behalf of historically marginalized populations, striving to build communities that are both inclusive and equitable. I look forward to her partnership on the Board as we work to realize DCFPI’s vision of building a DC of shared abundance and collective liberation.
“I am honored to join the board of the DC Fiscal Policy Institute,” Blake said. “Their unwavering commitment to justice and equity across the District is evergreen in its importance, but more critical than ever, and I’m grateful to support their work alongside staff and leadership.”
Blake’s appointment to DCFPI’s Board of Directors further diversifies the body and strengthens its commitment to pursue issues related to housing and equitable community development. Learn more about DCFPI’s Board of Directors.
