For 25 years, DCFPI has been a resource to advocates and community members, providing research, analysis, and strategy to inform just policy solutions and rebuild inequitable systems. Today, DCFPI is a Black and woman-led organization placing racial equity and justice at the center of our work as we aim to be more responsive to the experiences of residents facing racial and economic oppression. We leverage the power of public policy to support the economic liberation of Black, brown, and immigrant communities, women, and others sidelined by racism, sexism, and economic exclusion.
The DC Fiscal Policy Institute (DCFPI) seeks a highly strategic Director of Communications to oversee a comprehensive communications plan to advance solutions that expand economic opportunity and well-being for all residents of DC.
