Senior Director of Communications and External Affairs
Nikki is responsible for creating and overseeing the organization’s communications and campaign strategies. She provides vision and leadership to advocacy campaigns that build demand for DCFPI’s policy priorities. She brings more than a decade of experience in content creation and communications for social change to her role. She previously led communications teams at the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum and Planned Parenthood Texas Votes. Nikki is a published author with articles in the Houston Chronicle, the Oxford American, and Food Arts. She holds a bachelor’s in English from Rice University and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas.
