Office of the State Superintendent of Education Requesting Public Feedback by June 5th to Inform New Statewide Report Card
Soon, it’s not just students who will receive report cards in DC: Every public school in the city will receive one as well, as part of a new project spearheaded by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, known as OSSE. The report cards will create a uniform set of criteria and data points to compare and contrast traditional public schools and public charter school options across the District.
As part of this effort, OSSE is requesting public feedback through a confidential survey. It includes questions about what factors you may consider when selecting a school for your child, what online information resources you currently use, and what information could be provided that is not already available to help with your decision to select a public school in the District.
The OSSE statewide report card survey will only be active until 5pm on Wednesday, June 5th. Click here to participate: http://srvy.it/10pUgRx
