The Week Ahead….

Good morning, District Dime readers. It is with heavy hearts from the tragic events in Arizona that we turn our attention to local government here in DC.

It’s a fairly light schedule, according to published calendars. There are two meetings on the DC Council calendar. Both are on Tuesday at 1 pm:

 Tuesday, Jan. 11

• 1 pm: Committee on Government Operations and the Environment, Room 120
  Organizational Meeting for the 19^th Council period
•  1 pm: Committee on Economic Development, Room 123
  Organizational Meeting for the 19^th Council period
