The DC Tax Revision Commission wants to hear what you have to say!
On Monday, the commission will hold a public meeting from 5 to 8 pm at One Judiciary Square, Room 1107, to receive public testimony on how taxes in the District should be structured to:
1. Provide for fairness in apportionment of taxes;
2. Broaden the tax base;
3. Make the District’s tax policy more competitive with surrounding jurisdictions;
4. Encourage business growth and job creation; and
5. Modernize, simplify, and increase transparency in the District’s tax code.
