Happy New Year, District Dime readers! Thank you for subscribing to/reading our blog, and we have big plans to keep you informed and enlightened in 2011.
First, let us extend our congratulations to Mayor Vincent C. Gray and Council Chairman Kwame R. Brown. We look forward to working with all of our leaders, both new and not-so-new, in the upcoming days and months. When he spoke to reporters yesterday, Gray talked about our fiscal challenge ahead, and we were encouraged to hear the Mayor speak about raising revenue.
In Case You Missed It: In 2010, DCFPI launched a few new media efforts. Check out our video on an important tax reform that might cost the $22 million if the Mayor and DC Council do not take quick action, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXvdd8g6foI
