Yesterday, DC’s Affordable Housing Alliance (which DCFPI is part of) and the Coalition of Housing and Homeless Organizations (COHHO) hosted a briefing for candidates to talk about some of the most critical issues facing residents in the District of Columbia ‘ affordable housing and homelessness.
The briefings included short presentations from AHA members on several issues including the Housing Production Trust Fund, Emergency Shelter, New Communities, and preservation of affordable housing, just to name a few. As part of the briefing, AHA members developed several short issue briefs on each of the topics.
