Washington, DC—Following the release of the fourth and final report in a series on increasing equity in the District’s education budget, the DC Fiscal Policy Institute (DCFPI) will host a briefing Friday, February 28. Education Policy Analysts Qubilah Huddleston and Alyssa Noth will present their research and share how policymakers can build a better public education budget. The presentation will be followed by a panel conversation with educators and parents, moderated by Amanda Gomez of the Washington City Paper.
What: “Budgeting for Educational Equity: A Roadmap for DC” is an opportunity for the public to hear DCFPI’s proposed solutions to the city’s problems with adequacy and equity, to ensure every student thrives.
