DC Fiscal Policy Institute (DCFPI) is pleased to announce the election of Dr. Jerome S. Paige as Chair of our Board of Directors. Dr. Paige is a founding board member of the organization and has previously served as Board Treasurer.
DC’s approved police budget is remaining relatively flat, on net and when accounting for inflation, despite the Mayor and DC Council enacting significant investments to expand the police force.
Qubilah Huddleston, a policy analyst with the DC Fiscal Policy Institute (DCFPI) said that the budget actually creates losses for many schools.
